Devin Oshiro is a dance artist native to the Los Angeles, CA region with a BA in Dance from California State University of Fullerton, now residing in Brooklyn, NY. Since moving to NYC, Devin intersects her artistry through dancing and performing, teaching, choreographing, arts administration and activism. Devin has been a company member of Delirious Dances (Edisa Weeks), Gibney Dance Company (Gina Gibney, Amy Miller), Summation Dance (Sumi Clements), Bare Dance Company (Mike Esperanza) and has performed works by Joanna Kotze, Reggie Wilson, Maija Garcia, Patrick Corbin, Brice Mousset and more. She has showcased her work through a faith-based organization, Awakening Movement. Devin also works as a Community Action Associate at Gibney Dance in addressing arts for social justice, specifically domestic violence in leading movement workshops and addressing healthy relationships to youth in schools across NYC and curating professional development programming for Dancers’ Economic Empowerment Program (DEEP). Devin is also pursuing a full Pilates equipment certification from the Kane School and is Pilates mat certified.

EmmaGrace Skove-Epes is a movement-based artist, performer, teacher, and Brooklyn native. Her work has lived at venues including New York Live Arts (Fresh Tracks artist in collaboration with Jonathan Gonzalez), Roulette, and Center for Performance Research. She is currently a Gibney Work Up artist, and is a performer in projects with Jesse Philips-Fein, RoseAnne Spradlin, and Kathy Westwater. She has previously worked with Peniel Guerrier, Jon Kinzel, and Jodi Melnick, among others. Johnnie Cruise Mercer currently collaborates/performs with Antonio Brown, Monstah Black, yon Tande, Andre Zachery, Edisa Weeks, Charles O. Andeson (Dance Theater X) and is currently on tour with Ishmael Houston-Jones and Miguel Gutierrez’s Bessie winning reconstruction/reimaging; Variations on Themes of Lost and Found; Scene from a Life and other works by John Bernd. A native of Richmond, VA, and a BFA graduate from Virginia Commonwealth Univ Dance and Choreography Dept., Mr. Mercer is the artistic director/choreographer of Johnnie Cruise Mercer/TheREDprojectNYC based in Brooklyn NY. J'nae Simmons is a Queens native, dancer and choreographer. Obtaining her BFA with honors in Dance from Long Island University,Brooklyn, she trained under Dana Hash-Campbell, Donna Uchizono and Alenka Cizmesija . Simmons has worked with and performed works by Ron K. Brown, Wally Cardona, Davalois Fearon, Emily Berry, Aviva Geismar, Ori Flomin, Andre Tyson, Suku Dance Lab, Nathaniel Hunt and Netta Yerushalmy. Simmons believes giving back to specifically the youth in her community through dance and creative movement is a part of her purpose in life. Simmons is excited to be working with Edisa and Delirious Dances.
